Major Craft Nano Aji Metal
With the Major Craft Nano Aji Metal we're going to take rock fishing to its lightest extremes.
The Major Craft Nano Aji Metal isn't small, it's minute and although there is a five gram model which is quite common on the micro jigging planet, it's the design that makes it different, it's that stubby, chubby shape that changes the proportions of the jig.
The Major Craft Nano Aji Metal is a micro jig that we think is absolutely great and why do we say that? For a very simple reason, by being able to compact the size by modifying the proportions, the Japanese have given us a lure capable of awakening the predatory instinct even in the smallest fish or in those that we would never have expected to be able to catch with a hard bait. Between bream and weakfish we will now have the opportunity to get our hands on some species as peculiar as they are alien even to the world of light game fishing. For a moment you can imagine that those good-sized salps that patrol the walls of the harbours would suddenly be within your reach, or a mullet, or a wrasse if we want to go down in size, and obviously the species for which this jig has been designed, that is to say the jack mackerel and mackerel.
Someone who saw the photos of the Nano Aji Metal from Major Craft said that in the end we will only be fishing with a hook with eyes, well maybe it wasn't so far from reality, but we have to admit that a micro jig with these characteristics is a real pleasure and a lot of fun. Now, we have to couple it with the right equipment, obviously a rock fishing rod is fine and even better would be an Ajing rod and in both cases a model of up to a maximum of five grams.
