Tinny Gilling SS by Geecrack
As we haven't had enough stuff to deal with decided to start playing with mini swim baits, make way for the Tinny Gilling by Geecrack.
Wiggling these "lively" hard baits is very interesting, and if it is a common issue for freshwater fishermen, it is not the same for saltwater fishermen, since the sea sometimes penalizes more the fact of not being able to cast too far, which is one of the few disadvantages of lures like the Tinny Gilling SS by Geecrack.
First of all, the size of the Tinny Gilling SS by Geecrack is only 7.5 centimetres, which means that it is practically a hard bait for light game, as we can even cast it with kurodai rods up to 10 grams if we want to. This means that the style of fishing we will practise does not demand so much casting distance, perhaps we will make it swim in a flat, in the foam that covers the rocks in front of us or, obviously, near some structures, both in the salt and in fresh water.
The good thing then is to pay attention to the movement, this sensual swaying that is so typical of these artificial lures and that requires practically no effort on our part, but only to retrieve at the speed we want and wait for the dead halt. The Tinny Gilling SS by Geecrack is slow sinking, it is easy to keep it close to the surface to be able to get very visual hits, it will be fun to fish with it, especially in the sea because this size, as you know, is very versatile and effective.
