The Komomo Slim by IMA presents us the opportunity to continue fishing with one of the favorite lures of many saltwater lure fishermen when circumstances are trickier.
The saga of the Komomo seems to have no end, the Komomo Slim by IMA gives us another facet of the popular swimming lure in this case rather indicated for a more meticulous fishing, say “finesse”, where a reduced silhouette can be decisive to deceive more suspicious fish or when they are feeding on thin or juvenile bait.
Undoubtedly, we have all encountered active predators hunting on small needles, sand eels, anchovies and juvenile sardines, all kinds of bait fish with y a thinner silhouette. On those occasions it is difficult for european sea bass or breams to be seduced by lures with fatter profile than the Komomo Slim by IMA. It would sure be best to "match the hatch" and go with mother nature.
So, the Komomo Slim by IMA operates well in the bove mentioned circumstances or with very suspicious hunters for example in areas with a lot of fishing pressure (and where there is none?). Reducing the size of the lures is often as important as going with thinner leaders, making less noise, or wearing clothes that camouflage us with the environment. Exaggerations? Everyone take note of his own experiences and draw conclusions, of course it is not the same to fish in a Mediterranean flat than in a northwestern breakwater, and different will be the way to approach each of these environments.
It is difficult to recommend the Komomo Slim of IMA to everyone, in some places it would be impossible to use, but in others it could be the king of mambo, you know your areas better than anyone and you know if it is a lure that suits you or not.
