This micro-lure by Tetra Works, Duo, is the Ikkako, imitation of a baby quid.
Again this is a fairly realistic copy of an important food in the diet of many marine predators. The Ikkako is a lure that we could say is placed in a rather unique category, in fact it is a mix between a lipless minnow and a jig minnow. We can work it vertically in rocky areas or at night in places that are illuminated.
We can also cast it far from us and retrieve it with an irregular action, taking advantage of all the action that it can develop throughout the water column. Bear in mind that this is quite a heavy bait for its size and it will sink at a considerable fast rate, hence it can be used in fairly deep spots, even when fishing from the boat. Very effective on feeding frenzies.
