It is no coincidence that the Gunfish 117, at the moment, is one of the most valued surface lures in the USA.

Lucky Craft has returned to the drawing board and instead of making bigger an existing model has decided to create something entirely new, a lure requested by fishermen who wanted a version that offered further benefits to existing ones.

Thus it was born the Gunfish 117, with an almost conical tapered body and a hollow, concave face, which allows a bigger amount of splash and certainly different from the rest of the family. This lure has always distinguished itself by being able to mix the typical action of the walking the dog with the splattering of a popper, and this particular model has gone a step further into the noise maker direction, not forgetting its original WTD attitude.

Speaking of the action, unlike other walkers, including Sammyof the same brand, the Gunfish 117 slides along the surface with a pretty tight swim. Once stopped, with a twitch of the wrist you can make it splash as a popper with a more erratic action to stop again and resume the original walk.

It carries mobile resin/tungsten weights to achieve greater distance, and it must be said that such streamlined body allows for quieter landings.

The Gunfish 117 doesn't disappoint and in the right conditions. They say that it works best in water with much fishing pressure where other models start being blacklisted from predators.
