Fioretto Essence Travel Series by Molix

We have loved the new rods from the Italian brand and that is why we have introduced the Molix Fioretto Essence Travel Series in the shop.

It's true that multi-section rods, 4 in the case of the Fioretto Essence Travel Series by Molix, are usually designed for fishing trips, but it's also true that they are very practical and save the day on different occasions, especially when we want to travel light or without being showy. Let's say that they can be easily stored anywhere without being noticed, ideal for those rascal escapades or to leave them stored in the boot of the car (be careful with the heat in summer).

Perhaps rods like the Fioretto Essence Travel Series by Molix are not usually the first choice, but in our humble opinion they represent a good investment as support equipment. In these models there is a great deployment of technology such as the HMSHM Technology system that overlaps carbon layers of differentiated modulus, or the Fuji FazLite rings, for high performance without adding useless weight. What Molix has been looking for is high features without compromising on robustness, something that is really appreciated in a 4-section rod.

There are different models and we think it's a good thing that the Italian company has paid attention to the lightweight anglers, as the lightest of the bunch is up to only 10 grams. All models are suitable for both saltwater and freshwater fishing and most of them have a fast action.

MFE-ST-694ML A toy that casts up to 10.5 grams, more of a bass rod concept than a light game, but with it we can play lightly, either stalking largemouth and barbel in the reservoirs or sea bass and bream in the shallows.

The MFE-ST-714M is the one that most attracts our attention because of its range of action so suitable for shore or boat fishing for species such as sea bass, with its 18 grams of maximum power it handles with ease between WTD and softies, even without sinkers. Needless to say, it's a great performer in freshwater too.

The Molix Fioretto Essence Travel Series MFE-ST-764MH is a classic medium rod for saltwater fishing or as a pike outfit. It casts up to 30 grams and plays jerkbait, top water and soft baits without a flinch, if you look at it closely it might even be the most versatile model in the whole range.

If we continue to look at versatility here we have the MFE-ST-844H which has a similar action range to the previous one, but with an even faster action, Extra Fast. A lot of precision in a rig that gains a few centimetres in length, casts a little further and dominates the shore.

The Fioretto Essence Travel Series MFE-ST-734M is already a more powerful rod, it's a rod for targeting bluefish, leerfish, little tunny, dentex, barracuda and more predators with a bad temper. It casts up to 50 grams and although it is more suitable for stickbait, walkers and jerkbait, it handles well with the occasional popper.

We invite you to approach this kind of rods without fear, the evolution of the travel models in the last years has been brutal and the Fioretto Essence Travel Series by Molix have many hours of work behind and if we look at the coquettish side of things, they are also very pretty, which is never a bad thing.
