Evergreen Corsair 50
The Evergreen Corsair 50 has a peculiar design that allows it to deliver some very interesting advantages.
If we look at the shape of the back of the Evergreen Corsair 50 we can see that the side view is very similar to many sinking pencils on the market and it is only when we look at it from above that we can tell the difference. If the side profile of the rear is thin and slim, the view from above is totally different and presents a stubbier, more voluminous profile.
The work of the designers of the Japanese brand has been concentrated on this aspect because they wanted to weight the Evergreen Corsair 50 adequately to be able to reach long casting distances without losing a bit of the action they were interested in achieving. The positioning of the weight in the belly is another trick they have played so that, compensated by the volume of the body and evidently of the air chamber it forms, it can swim as naturally as possible with a quick response to rod tip solicitations.
In Japan the Evergreen Corsair 50 is used for mebaru, jacks and mackerel, but in our waters its range of action is potentially infinite for small predators. Good for Ajing, it is perfectly suitable for light rockfishing and thanks to the range it can be an efficient tool on the beaches, especially when predators station a bit farther away.
We know very well the quality of Evergreen's material and this Corsair 50 is a confirmation that when they start creating something they do it with a lot of determination to get the best possible product. Little by little the line for light game of the brand is expanding, we will be paying attention to all the new products that come out.
